Bill Sonnemaker, MS, PES, CES, CSCS
Bill Sonnemaker, MS is an internationally sought after Performance Enhancement Specialist and Fitness Educator. He is a spokesperson for IDEA, NASM, and NSCA. He is the recipient of the 2007 IDEA Personal Trainer of the Year Award and the 2007 NASM Pursuit of Excellence Award in Health and Fitness. He is the Founder and CEO of Catalyst Fitness, Georgia’s only fully accredited and medically recognized personal training and performance enhancement facility. Bill holds a MS in Performance Enhancement and Injury Prevention along with certifications and advanced specializations from NASM, ACSM, NSCA and ACE.

Brian Schiff, PT, CSCS
Brian is a licensed physical therapist, strength coach, author, and fitness industry speaker. He graduated from Ohio State University in 1996 with a bachelor of science degree in allied health professions (physical therapy). He became a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist through the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) in 1998.


Brian currently serves as the supervisor at the Athletic Performance Center in Raleigh, NC. He oversees sports performance training and rehab, while specializing in treating sports medicine cases, specifically the shoulder, knee, and ankle. Over the years, Brian has lectured and given numerous presentations on topics including safe shoulder training, soccer specific training, ACL injury prevention, functional golf training, baseball specific training, and sport specific training.

He has been featured in the USA Weekender, Men’s Health Best Life Magazine, Better Homes and Gardens, and Business First. He writes a bi-weekly Functionally Fit column for PFP Magazine, is a contributing author for PTontheNet and is an expert author for Ezinearticles.com.

Brian Wright, MS, NSCA-CSCS, NSCA-CPT, RK
Brian Wright has been working in the fitness industry since his early 20’s. He received his first training certification from the NSCA his junior year in college and has been helping clients of all fitness levels ever since. After moving to Northern Virginia in 2002 he managed a fitness club while working on his post graduate degree. Simultaneously, Brian worked toward starting his own personal training business. He saw that the corporate side of fitness truly serves as the best way to reach people in helping them to achieve their goals. As BW-PT grew, the business scoped increased to include private training in homes, area health clubs, community fitness facilities, and other wellness centers. The athlete performance division of the company has grown to include team training, strength camps, and private training. Currently Brian manages 12 corporate buildings in the DC and VA area.

Brook Benten
Brook Benten, M.Ed., is the President of Cardiopump Fitness, LLC. Brook received her Bachelor's of Science in Exercise and Sport Science from Texas State University and her Master's of Education in Physical Education with emphasis in Sport and Fitness Administration from The University of Houston. A few of her certifications include ACSM-HFS, ACE Personal Trainer, AFAA Group Exercise Instructor, Kettlebell Concepts Group Kettlebell Instructor, and AFPA Nutrition & Wellness Consultant. Brook has released several workout DVDs, including Kettlebell: Butts & Guts and Cardiopump Fusion, which are both available through Power Systems. She also has recorded a series of free downloadable virtual workouts, which include everything from indoor cycling and Trekking to abs and bootcamp, available at www.cardiopump.com. Brook recently relocated to Austin, TX, after spending 5 years in Dallas, serving as Fitness Director at Southern Methodist University. Her personal objective is to provide fun workouts that break negative associations to exercise and catalyze improvements in social, emotional, and physical wellness in the lives of those she serves.

Don Bahneman, MS, CSCS, PES, CES, USAW
Don has been active in the sports medicine and fitness community since 1994. He earned degrees in athletic training and sports management from St. Cloud State University and completed his graduate work in human performance at the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse.

During his career, Don has worked with amateur and professional athletes, directed and supervised private and corporate fitness facilities, and provided fitness education on a local, regional, and national scale. His real passion lies in building strong relationships with the people he works with and watching their hard work pay dividends.

Jay Dawes, MS
Jay Dawes is a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Kinesiology at Texas A& M University- Corpus Christi (TAMUCC). He is currently a Ph.D. candidate at Oklahoma State University in the area of health and human performance/exercise science. He is certified by the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) as a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) and a certified personal trainer (NSCA-CPT), the American College of Sports Medicine as a Health Fitness Specialist (ACSM-HFS), and USA Weightlifting as a Club Coach, and a Fellow of the NSCA (FNSCA).

He is an IDEA Personal Trainer of the Year and an education provider for Power Systems, The American Council on Exercise, PTontheNet, PTA Global and the National Strength and Conditioning Association.

Lauren Brooks is the creator of "The Ultimate Body Sculpt and Conditioning with Kettlebells" DVD's Volume 1, 2 and 3. She is also the creator of the only pregnancy kettlebell DVD "Baby Bells". Lauren is a Russian Kettlebell Instructor, RKC Team Leader, ACE Fitness Trainer, Clinical Nutritionist, and Battling Ropes Certified based in California. Lauren earned her B.S. in Kinesiology with an emphasis in Fitness, Nutrition, and Health.
