CORE – Components of Restorative Exercise
This session will emphasize core conditioning, balance training and the importance of flexibility methods in exercise routines. The attendee will take away creative exercises, guidelines and theory reinforcing the importance of each modality to be used for their clients, member or themselves.

S.A.Q. – Training for the Athlete in all of Us
Speed, agility and quickness are a necessary component of training for all levels and abilities. This session provides ideas, guidelines and progressions to take your clients to a higher level of fitness and ability. This session will give the coach, trainer or athlete the correct information to transfer it into success for their team or group.

Power the System
Get faster, stronger and more explosive! This session will explain the how’s and why’s to reaching maximum potential in becoming more powerful. Fast twitch muscle development exercises will be discussed including proper progressions, safety and other pertinent guidelines. Help your clients and athletes become POWERful!

Learn to Move
This session will help you prepare your clients or members to move correctly, efficiently and in some cases pain-free. An overview of kinesiology and biomechanics will be discussed to allow you to feel more comfortable in teaching proper movement patterns and progressions. We all want to move and feel better, let this be your guide.

Move Your Body; Your Machine
The resurgence of body weight training is upon us. More and more training regimens now include push-ups, pull-ups, and various squat techniques using only body weight. Also, the latest information regarding suspended training (i.e. TRX, Jungle Gym and Body Weight Gym) will be analyzed and discussed. It’s no secret, if you move your own body weight well; it transfers over to sport and resisted exercises.

Alternative Training
Call it old school, retro or whatever, but training with “out of the ordinary” implements are more popular than ever. We’ll discuss the growing popularity and the efficacy of this style of training. Many of the top trainers, athletes and coaches have adopted this as the best way to gain sport specific strength, power and explosiveness. Let’s see if this truly is the best Alternative!

Get Tough
We all think we’re tough but are we mentally tough? When 5 more reps seem physically impossible can you keep pushing? When 20 miles of a marathon has you to your breaking point, can you run 6.2 miles more? In this session you will learn methods, tips and ideas to motivate your clients or even yourself to become mentally prepared to accomplish goals and to achieve more in your life.

Putting it all together
How many times have you watched or even created unique and innovative exercises but wondered, how do I put that in a system or workout that best fits my needs? Well this session is for you! You’ll learn a systematic approach to creating workouts that provide proper progression but challenge your clients in a safe and efficient manner not once but every time you create exercises.
